I have had one of these for years, and have watched it grow.... (and my tum). Now introducing it to my daughters for Christmas and am looking forward to the recipes they will collect over the years... might just add a few of their favourites from mine to theirs before wrapping!!!! This book is quite superb. I was given one as a present and so bought one for a friend. For years all the favorite recipes I had collected were jumbled together in a mess and it took forever to find the one I wanted. Now I can go straight to 'fish' or 'baking' etc.etc. and oh the ease! A must have for all cooks and it is full of fun sketches and amusing little pieces as well!! A really great buy. (Posted on 15/08/2011)

Dodopad products are a bit of a cult, and not all of them are for me, but when I was first introduced to this Cooks version a few years ago it hit the spot.
It's a kind of recipe file-o-fax - a DIY cookbook if you like - laid out with tabs for indexing to 'starters', 'meat', 'pasta' etc, pockets for recipe's torn from magazines and handy cooking facts ( imperial/metric/US conversion charts). Oh and it boasts a sprinkling of humour that wouldn't be out of place in a Christmas Cracker.
It's for anyone that makes up or tweaks their own recipe's and would like to make some record of what they did - perhaps so they don't do it again!
