Limited edition, hand-made recycled 'nubuck' Italian leather slipcover for Mini Dodo Pad and Mini Acad-Pad pocket diaries. Beautifully lined (as you would expect from the Italians!) and finished with a smart contrast elastic bandeau in black/stone. Nubuck is a type of leather with a soft, velvety surface and is some of the most expensive leather to purchase. We chose this recycled version because, unlike suede, nubuck is far more durable.
We are pleased to report that our Capri ‘nubuck finish’ leather is highly stain resistant, having been personally tested by Lord Dodo with both oily salad dressing and yoghurt(!), both of which just wiped away with a damp cloth and the leather dried leaving no trace whatsoever. Ideally try not to, but if you do spill liquid on your nubuck finish leather slipcover, please try to soak up the spill as quickly as possible as old stains may be more difficult to remove.

I can not get over how soft this slip cover is, it really is beautiful and very tactile. I do find myself stroking the cover sometimes, I just can't help it! I chose the apple green leather cover and a hot pink pen loop to go with it, they clash wonderfully and really set each other off. The cover is easy to use and protects my dodo pad while adding a touch of luxury. It looks smart and new even when it's been in my handbag along with a hundred other things I can't leave my house without! I'm sure once you buy one it will become in-dodo-spensable to you too!
