Comedian Jon Richardson says there are two types of people in the world: Putters, and Leavers. Putters are perfectionists. They know where they put their keys and they are tidy people. Leavers, however, are too busy enjoying life to care about where they leave things. Usually couples consist of a putter and a leaver because two putters would drive themselves mad arguing over which way the tins of beans in the cupboard should face and two leavers would starve to death as neither would know where they left the car keys and they would forget to do the food shop. Now I'm a putter but my husband is a leaver and my Dodo pad is the thing that keeps me sane. I use it to keep track of all our appointments so I can tell him when/where he has to be and this way things get done. The Dodo pad has five sections for each day which is perfect for me as I can assign one each to myself, my hubby and our three children so I know what each of us is doing each day. There is also enough space for my obsessive list making, keeping important numbers to hand and the general military planning needed to keep track of all of us! So in conclusion if you are a putter you need a dodo pad and if you are a leaver... you NEED a dodo pad too!

Once again amazing. I have been using dodo pads for years and would not be with out it. Its great for organizing between two jobs and everything else. This is my third Dodo Desk Diary - It is an absolutely must have item in my house. With a husband and three children, all appointments, activities, birthdays, etc. can be clearly laid out on each page of the weekly planner, which is conveniently divided into five sections for each member of the family. I have been using Dodo Pads for years. As a teacher they are so useful for staff meeting notes, lists, doodles, home and work bits. My mother has used this type of diary for the family at home for atleast 20 years and is bought one every year for her birthday my my godmother - who also uses them. I have now started to do the same for my best pal who is hooked too! With a whole week on one page and good quality spiral binding the diary is lasting and practical. As a little girl and as a teenager I remember that my brothers and I would have to fill in what we would be up to on the family one that was kept on the kitchen sideboard. You won't look back. It's informal and certainly doodler friendly! the odd quip and puzzle or two also helps to liven up those ghastly meetings that some of us have to endure. (Posted on 15/08/2011)
