Soft, luscious leather cover to protect your precious Dodo Pad Review by Lady Tamlynn
When I purchased my Dodo Acad Pad a few weeks ago, I knew I had to buy a cover to protect it. As I am planning on using a Dodo Pad for many years to come, I decided to pay the extra money and invest in a leather slipcover instead of a faux leather one. I chose the Royal Purple colour and it is simply beautiful. The colour is rich yet understated and has drawn many admiring glances and comments from my work collegues.
The leather used to make the slipcover is buttery soft and very smooth to the touch. I haven't been able to stop stroking it in the three weeks I've had it! It is extremely well made and seems to be built to last. It has been bashed about in my handbag and teaching bag for the last few weeks and yet doesn't have a single mark on it. I accidentally scored the leather with my nail the other day and was worried that I had marked it, but I just rubbed my finger over the mark and it went away. I can see myself using this cover for many years to come.
The Dodo Pad itself fits into the cover very well and the cover lies completely flat with the Dodo Pad inside it. You can also use the flaps which hold the Dodo Pad in, to hold loose bits of paper or important documents you need to keep with you.
The one criticism I would have about the case would be that it doesn't have any pen loops but this was easily remedied with the sticky pen loops sold on the Dodo Pad website. I stuck two of these pen loops on to my slipcover to hold the two Bic 4 colour pens I use to colour code my Dodo Pad.
The slipcover is well worth the £39.95 price tag as it truly is an investment and will last you for years to come.
