Dodo Pad (available in a variety of formats; desk diary, wall pad calendar, mini pocket diary, loose-leaf, A5 Filofax compatible, Personal Organiser Filofax compatible)

Worth its weight in gold
I have had a Dodo pad diary for at least ten years and I could not do without it - or want to! Plenty of space for all the family to put their appointments and pages for notes and doodles whilst you wait for those interminable hours on the phone for the call centres to answer... Full of lovely drawings of dodos doing all sorts of things as they would and fascinating date facts so you have got something to read and chuckle at whilst STILL waiting for your calls to be answered .... Helps keep you sane in a world that is far crazier than the dodo world depicted. Buy one and you will never get anything else!!!!! (No I don't have shares in the company - can you get them??!!!)

Oh so fab...
Having been disappointed by so many 'Family Organiser' calendars, it was with some trepidation that I purchased one of these pads... What a surprise! There are five columns on each page next to the date and they are big enough to write in more than one short abbreviation to show who's doing what. That's quite exciting enough until you spot the blank page opposite for doodles, hastily scrawled numbers, names and so on. I could not now live without this highly technical piece of wizardry! It makes life in our hectic family so much easier to deal with - no running around at the last moment to buy presents for the child whose invitation you found crumpled in the bottom of the school bag on the day of the party, no more frantic calls to the school to pick up the children in half an hour because they have a dental appointment that you had neglected to remember. Heaven is definitely spiral-bound and sits next to the phone :) And, as if that weren't enough, the quirky illustrations bring a smile to my face.

Must have it!
I am on to my 4th year with The Dodo. Couldn't now be organised without it. I also keep all my old ones as it's amazing the info you write in them so great for reference too.

can't live without it...
The longer we have a Dodo pad in our house, it seems more and more people who drop by give it a knowing look as if to say "oh you run your lives with a DodoPad too". We now have a good few year's worth of Dodo-pad diaries stacked up on the bookshelves, as they evolve into works of art through the year - we start by putting in birthdays, then important dates, then the beauty of these diaries becomes apparent the more you use 'em: PLENTY of room for doodling (or should that be DoDoodling?) when you're chatting on the phone, but more importantly plenty of columns to write engagements for the whole family, with some amusing drawings and silly jokes thrown in too: We're hooked now, and can't live without 'em. They make GREAT Christmas presents too (and no I don't work for the Dodo folks, though I have visited Mauritius, home of the last Dodo) - get one now, you won't regret sharing your life with a Dodo.

Can't live without a dodo pad!!!!
My mother has used these pads for years!! Her whole life (and everyone else's) is in there!!!!

Excellent!
This diary is especially usefull if you have a family, with children who seem to have a fuller schedule than both of the parents combined! It helps you to keep a clear eye on what is going on, when, and with whom.
It splits each day into four columns and a week onto one page. Well worth it!

Dodelightful
Simply the best desk diary there is. Each day has five boxes, so one for all the family, or in my case, I divide them into morning afternoon and evening so I can see at a glance what there is to do across the whole day. Plenty of space for doodling while on the telephone and wonderful silly gentle humour on each page. Can't live without it! This is the fifth Dodo pad we have had and, as a family, it would be hard to survive without it! Thank you Lord Dodo.

Essential for Family Life
I've been using dodopads for about 10 years now, and cannot imagine what I would do without one. I have a husband who works irregular shifts, and 3 children who for years were at 3 different schools. The dodopad has 5 columns for each week, meaning every family member has their own column to write in what they're doing, and when, and where. The left-hand page has space for lists, doodling or notetaking, and the whole thing is livened up with puzzles, facts and information (which MAY be hugely relevant to your life?!). added to this you have a forward planner for the following year, a pocket for essential bits of paper and space for phone numbers. I've recommended them to nearly everyone I know, should really be on commission. They're worth their weight in gold.

Acad-Pad (available in the following formats; desk diary, wall pad calendar, mini pocket diary, Personal Organiser Filofax compatible)

Thank you for the Dodo Academic diary. I am a learning mentor (basically mop up the tears, and calm down 'angry young men') in a HUGE secondary school. For me, each page represents a school week, and each little box is a lesson (I add one on the space at the end as we have six lessons a day, but that's do-able!). At the top of each column I put the number of the period, and in the little boxes I write down who I am seeing during that lesson, how easy is that! Even for a (slightly) ditsy person, who is also inclined to be a little forgetful at times (!) it is (almost- and that's good enough for me) foolproof. The opposite page becomes full of reminders and meeting notes (and doodles of hearts and flowers!?) in no time, but I know that later on in the hectic term, my overfull brain will turn to (ditsy) pink mush and I'll be glad of those little rambling comments that mean nothing to anyone else (sometimes it takes me a couple of hours and several cups of tea to decipher them, but at least they are there!). My customising of the diary ready for this school year is pretty butterfly printed wrapping paper and sticky-back plastic (sorry, can't afford a cover on my salary). Twee, I know, but hey........ that's me!!!! Anyway, bored you for long enough. Just love it, and wanted you to know.

Brilliant!
I was searching everywhere for a fun academic diary for my daughter who is in uni at the age of 26, but all the ones in the shops seemed to put all the funky element into their covers and were sooooo boring inside. When i saw this one it looked good from the outside, but would not allow me to look inside so if I had not been desperate by that time I would not have bought it. However it is brilliant! my daughter was thrilled with it and now can't wait for the new year to start so she can use it. I work in education and am sorely tempted to get one for myself now even though I get a good quality functional diary given to me every year.

Organisation for the chronically scatty
I'm possibly one of the most dis-organised people I know; seriously, I set off for appointments ten minutes after I'm supposed to have arrived, and still expect to get there on time, and I'm constantly forgetting things I'm supposed to have done.
These planners are awesome for people like me - they look interesting, making you want to actually look at them and write things in them, increasing the chances of me actually remembering to hand in work, or do it in the first place. There're quotes and random facts on every page, just for the fact fans, as well as large weekly tables with plenty of room for you to write down reminders for appointments, essay hand in dates, shifts at work, exam times, nights out.. anything.
Really good. Reccommended if you feel like you need a bit of a helping hand when it comes to remembering things and organising.

I was dubious... but it's brilliant!
I really wasn't sure when I saw this diary.... I'd never heard of it but the reviews seemed really positive. I was dubious as it isn't the 'run of the mill' diary, and I quite like the more traditional ones so wasn't sure a change was a wise option. I got the diary and it hasn't left my side since, it has brought out the organised child in me; with colour co-ordinated information and timetabling. For some reason, because this diary is already sketchy and doodled it makes you want to join in the fun. It makes organising your life an enjoyable experience.
The layout of it is a lot different to normal diaries, which made me feel uneasy at first, but if you are open to new ideas then this one will definately work it's magic on you.

All in all, an unconventional diary for the creative, imaginative and unconventional person.

dodopad academic diary
I purchased the Dodopad academic diary for 08 -09 and really enjoyed using it. It brought a small shaft of sunshine, 'lightness' and fun into what otherwise were dry and extremely tedious meetings. I found it to have 'soul' and 'individuality' amongst the usual dour, 'straight' academic diaries. I was very pleased to be able to buy the diary again for 09 -10. It is 'functional' - having much space for notes in meetings/ reminders/lesson notes/addresses etc and the perforated corners make it easy to find the current date/week. I would recommend this diary for teachers/lecturers who 'dare to step out from between the regular, mass produced, drab, navy/black covers'. The design/humorous quotes are well considered and, as I discovered later, it is made locally by a small firm in Cornwall where I live...so I am also supporting local designers and manufacturers which is a bonus! I also have the Dodo recipe 'scrapbook' and have bought these as gifts for friends.

Book for Cooks (recipe organiser)

Delightful Dodo
Dodopad products are a bit of a cult, and not all of them are for me, but when I was first introduced to this Cooks version a few years ago it hit the spot.

It's a kind of recipe file-o-fax - a DIY cookbook if you like - laid out with tabs for indexing to 'starters', 'meat', 'pasta' etc, pockets for recipe's torn from magazines and handy cooking facts ( imperial/metric/US conversion charts). Oh and it boasts a sprinkling of humour that wouldn't be out of place in a Christmas Cracker.

It's for anyone that makes up or tweaks their own recipe's and would like to make some record of what they did - perhaps so they don't do it again! Well made, carefully thought out, a good product.

Finally, a place for all those odd recipes I've collected over the years!
I've been a keen cook for many years and in amongst my recipes books are all sorts of hand written, ripped out of magazine type bits and pieces. I've found a perfect place for them now, plus places to write new ones!

Lovely and Unique
Full of interesting bits and pieces, the book is a colourful and fun addition to the kitchen. There is lots of room to write (and draw if you want to) and the measurement tables at the front make it easy to convert all recipes to imperial or otherwise. Brilliant purchase, well worth it!

Magic recipe sorter
This book is quite superb. I was given one as a present and so bought it from Amazon for a friend. For years all the favorite recipes I had collected were jumbled together in a mess and it took forever to find the one I wanted. Now I can go straight to 'fish' or 'baking' etc.etc. and oh the ease! A must have for all cooks and it is full of fun sketches and amusing little pieces as well!! A really great buy.

Book of the Big Bump (pregnancy planner)

Such a simple idea for a busy 9 months! Keeps everything in one place.

Book of the Big Day (wedding planner)

Excellent!
Excellent little planner with individual sections for planning such as cars, bridesmaids clothes and reception ect. The binder aspect is very good as you can add more pages to sections that you use more. My saviour when I was getting married.

Does the Job!
I used this book to help me organise my wedding day. There is plenty of paper to scribble all of your notes on, dividers to assist when you can't find the note you wrote only yesterday but can't find today! There is even a pouch at the back for samples and things that you just know you would loose.

All this and, due to the design, you do not look like a wedding saddo. (Thank god it is not fluffly and pink)

Household Stuff Book (household organiser)

Like it!
I have been using Dodo pad diary last few years and have a Book of big bump, which was quite useful. I really like their quirkiness, specially most of Baby related product designs are all too soft and pretty and pink and sugary... I knew about household stuff book from DodoPad's website, but I couldn't quite see what's kind of tabs it has... I got it today and it's better than I thought. Each dividers are quite well thought... eg Bills section has a pocket on both sides one for to pay and other for paid, which even remind you to file it!

I have been nagged by my partner to sort out all household matters, with this file, I can share most of information with him as low tech database, thinking to keep it by the telephone in the kitchen, not carry around in my bag.

Book of Christmas (Christmas organiser)

Luverly
A book for all Christmas lovers - you can keep records of everything to do with your version of Christmas, pages and pages for all your notes, pockets for bits and bobs - imagine .... having a record of all the gifts you gave and received for decades ....great. Well it makes me happy.

Very useful book for organsing Christmas - a ring binder with eight dividers and pockets; keep a list of Christmas cards, presents, Christmas fare etc with witty comments as always from Lord Dodo.

Book of Dates (birthday book)

Dodo dates
Great way to get organised. I use it all the time and just bought one for a friend who keeps forgetting where she's stored all her birthday cards!

Book of Garden Cuttings (garden journal)

Excellent book for keen and budding gardners. I bought it for my brother he loved it. Great for keeping notes and sketches of your garden plots etc.
